Fennica Gehrman is the leading publisher of classical and contemporary music in Finland and a subsidiary of Gehrmans Musikförlag Ab of Sweden. Our comprehensive selection of music in print includes a large volume of choral, vocal, chamber and instrumental music and Fennica Gehrman represents the finest Finnish composers from Jean Sibelius to such contemporary names as Einojuhani Rautavaara, Kalevi Aho, and Kimmo Hakola. We also publish some Estonian composers including Veljo Tormis.
Our catalogue consists of close to 12 000 titles and we have a broad platform for publishing music with roots stretching back more than a hundred years. Fennica Gehrman is the publisher of classical catalogues earlier owned by Fazer Music and Warner/Chappell Music Finland. In 2006 Edition Love's classical works were also merged into our catalogue.
We represent such companies as Boosey & Hawkes, Breitkopf & Härtel and Faber Music as well as music by Shostakovich, Khachaturian and Prokofiev. Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers and Schott Music represent Fennica Gehrman in their territories.
